I’m a seasoned healthcare delivery veteran, living on Lopez since 2020. Lopez needs a strong, holistic, and accessible healthcare system. We have a primary care clinic, emergency medical services, and independent providers who together address the health needs of Lopezians. But there are critical gaps, including limited access to urgent care and too many Lopezians seeking primary, urgent and emergent care off island at great hassle and expense. Between the taxes levied on Lopezians and a generous community, we can and must do more.
